HAPPENING NOW: The Consortium of Open and Distance Education Providers in the Philippines (CODEPP) is currently holding its first biannual meeting at CLSU Distance, Open, and Transnational University today, April 16, 2024. The focus of the meeting is to evaluate the progress made in 2023 and chart a course for future initiatives for 2024-2025.

CODEPP’s gathering brings together representatives from eight higher learning institutions that offer open distance education in the country both onsite and online. These universities are the UP Open University (UPOU), Benguet State University, Cavite State University, Central Luzon State University, Dmmmsu Edu Ph, Ifugao State University, Mariano Marcos State University, and John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University – Arevalo, Inc.

The CODEPP Founding Members also extended the courtesy of visiting the CLS University President, Dr. Evaristo A. Abella. Set to take place tomorrow, a colloquium on Open Universities and Distance Education in the Philippines will feature UPOU Chancellor, Dr. Melinda dela Peña Bandalaria, as the keynote speaker.
